Frodus Lungfish influence?

"Talking Songs for Walking" gets regular play on my stereo, and I was wondering if that album has confirmed influence on the Frodus sound...

to me some Frodus ("War Dialer" for example) sounds like a swirling, locked-in, drone-core Lungfisher.

Lovitt will be repressing the "weapons" vinyl with a bonus demo track of "there will be no more scum" (originally appearing on a T&N comp). What should we do?

1. Picture vinyl with NO insert... one side is the Frodus head and the other the cover art.

2. Regular 12" sleeve with fancy full color insert and colored vinyl.

Have any of you made it into the beta via invite yet? I just got invited
by a friend and I have to say, it's pretty damn sweet. It's really
intuitive and all coded in swanky html5 code.

I love the idea of "Circles" and being able to create custom ones and
how they help keep the "Stream" (Think FB's News Feed) consolidated by
letting you choose which circles to show in it with a simple click or
all of them.

I have a couple invites left and I think anyone I invite get's 15 of their own.

So far this tour is awful, already been in one IED blast (everyone lived), living conditions compared to how I lived during my tour in Afghanistan, I'm living like a king, I have my own 12x12 room I share with 1 guy versus 5 guys in Afghanistan.

Shelby, since getting the Afghanistan war rugs fell through (my platoon sgt stole them from me), is there anything hard to get that you'd like me to look into getting from iRAQ?

I'm looking for some aesthetically pleasing illustrations of cosmonaut/astronauts.. particularly the helmets, even more particular, i'm looking for something not of this day and age, something slick and sci fi, spacey maybe even horror/survival but at the same time generic (example Isaac from Dead Space get up is super rad but its now iconic for that game.)

If any of you have any images or know anything that might fit the bill... I'd super major appreciate a link or something!

Any folk here into Board-Games? I personally am a fan of the following:

This bottom one is Alien Frontiers, which my friend got me as he invested in it on Kickstarter. It's really great- rather inspiring to see something like this which is so cool come to life via Kickstarter since most board game publishers wouldn't want you to make something with so many pieces because then they would say its too heavy and not cost-effective for shipping, etc...

I also dig Settlers of Catan, but I havent played in a while. I like Carcassonne a bit more for some reason. I even made my own "fan expansions" for it. I guess board games and pie-making is how I survive the Nordic-Winters but I'm well due for playing some sort of show with some sort of band... *sigh*.

The backstory:

In 2010 after playing an excellent and electrifying show near the arctic circle in northern Sweden, Triobelisk took a monastic leave of absence from the live electronica world. An exile partly due to the alienation of being a stranger in a strange land and a desire to re-envision his live performance and overall concept. During his time in Scandinavia, Triobelisk began to gradually stray from the politicking of the local club-world to naturally walk amongst the game-designer world of Göteborg, Sweden. He soon became friends with award winning game-designer Erik Svedäng and an idea to collaborate became apparent after numerous brainstorming sessions. Naturally the concept revolved around triangles and they brought together their ideas to create 33TRIOBELISK– a Japan-only iPad game of colossal space war and off-world cantina dance music! Triobelisk created new tracks that fit the fast-paced nature of the game as well as tapped into label-mates Itaru and Jonathan Kreinik to revisit their Triobelisk remixes for the game. An exciting new release bridging dance-floor electro and game-music. The beginning metamorphosis of Triobelisk and his collaborations in interactive space. 3. 3. TRI. OBELISK.

I dunno about you guys but I always download vo and flac because I'm an audiophile.

Anyways, I noticed this and I don't know if it's supposed to be like this but when it takes you to this page after you do the paypal thing, you can download every format for the price of paying for one of them..just by selecting each format and letting it prepare the download before you leave the page...

Does this make me evil?

This is absolutely sublime and the craftsmanship on the music really shines through. I could not recommend this any higher, one of the best IDM/Electronica releases of 2010.
